“Before moving to Aarhus, the City of Smile, I never felt inspired to turn my poems into music. But walking the cobblestone streets, meeting the always helpful and smiling people, I felt inspired to do something different. And when I participated in a summit with David Manon there were no turning back…”
“I wanted to challenge myself creatively,” Mathilde says, “and Aarhus, with its vibrant cultural scene, felt like the perfect place to do that. Seeing how musicians from my own city made their mark on the world pushed me to dive deeper into my own creative potential.”

When I first moved to Aarhus, I had a bit of trouble finding my way around, especially in the city center, as the shopping street spans several levels! Visit Søndergade.
